March 2014 conference at James Madison University

Registration is now open for a 19-20 March 2014 conference at James Madison University in Harrisonburg, VA on “Intelligence and the Transition from War to Peace, A Multidisciplinary Assessment.”

This conference—organized by JMU professor (and retired CIA analyst) Tim Walton—examines declassified CIA documents on intelligence support to U.S. decision-making on Bosnia, 1992-1996.

The conference will include scholars from the United States and abroad presenting papers exploring the role of intelligence in war and peace, and the multidimensional nature of conflict resolution, as well as eyewitness accounts from individuals who actively participated in the Bosnian War and Dayton Peace Accords.
